How to block spam messages on iOS

Step 1: First, search and download SMSCat APP in the App Store

Open the system settings. If it is iOS18, find the App to enter, find [Messages], select Unknown and Filter Messages, turn on Filter Unknown Senders, and select SMSCat.

It is recommended to go to the Messages app and turn off RCS messages. Currently, there is a bug in the iOS system and it may not be able to filter.

Why can't I change the category name?

iOS does not provide permission to change category names. Developers cannot customize category names. All categories are officially set.

Why is filtering ineffective?

Check whether the APP interface language and region are the common languages of the current region. If you often send text messages in Chinese, you need to set the APP language to Chinese zh. If you often send text messages in English, you need to set the APP language to English en. The filtering language must be consistent with the APP interface language.
